Dr. Beam provides neck lift surgery for patients in Glastonbury, New Britain, Hartford, New Haven and surrounding areas of Connecticut.

Your eyes and face are not the only areas that can lose their youthful, natural vitality. Lifestyle changes, aging and environmental conditions can cause your neck to droop and sag making you look significantly older than you are. With neck lift surgery, we can help create a thinner, more youthful neck line to help you regain your confidence.

How is a Neck Lift Performed?

  • Liposuction: slims neck’s contours
  • Cervicoplasty: remove excess skin
  • Platysmaplasty: tighten neck muscles

The techniques that are used during your surgery are depending on your individual needs and cosmetic goals.

What Can I Expect After Neck Lift Surgery?

You also may need to sleep with your head elevated for a week after treatment. Be sure to carefully follow all post-operative instructions Dr. Beam has provided for you.

How Much Does Neck Lift Surgery Cost?

Neck Lift FAQs

On average, our patients are still satisfied with the results of their neck lifts up to 15 years following their surgery. It’s important to note that receiving a neck lift will not prevent further signs of aging from appearing in the future. To maintain the results of your neck lift, we encourage our patients to lead a healthy lifestyle and consider using medical-grade skincare products.

The neck lift is not a painful procedure. Following your neck lift, you may experience swelling, tenderness, and bruising around your treated areas. This is normal and side effects typically resolve on their own within a week or two of treatment. Dr. Beam and his expert medical team will provide you with post-operative care instructions to help make your neck lift recovery period as comfortable as possible.

While there is no perfect age to get a neck lift, we most often see patients ages 45 to 60 interested in receiving the procedure. That being said, good candidates for a neck lift are 35 to 65 years old, in good general health, and have realistic expectations of their desired results. If you believe you’re a good candidate for a neck lift, we encourage you to come in for a private consultation with Dr. Beam.

A mini neck lift is exactly what it sounds like – this surgical cosmetic procedure is a less intensive version of a traditional neck lift. The mini neck lift is often recommended to patients who have mild signs of aging or excess skin around their neck. If you feel that a mini neck lift may be right for you, we encourage you to come in for a private consultation with Dr. Beam.
