How is miraDry® Performed?

Then, Dr. Beam and our team of skilled nurse practitioners place the device directly on the skin. You may feel a light suction and cooling sensation as your skin adheres to the device. Thermal energy is delivered through the device to heat and eliminate the sweat and odor glands in the underarm. Once the glands are eliminated, they do not grow back.
What is the Recovery From miraDry® Like?
Because this is a non-invasive procedure, recovery time is minimal. The treated area will remain numb for the duration of the local anesthesia. After, it is normal to feel some tenderness, bruising or swelling. You will be able to return to your normal daily activities in as little as one day.
