The most prominent feature on your face is the nose, and because of this the size and shape of your nose can have a drastic effect on how one’s self image. A huge or oddly shaped nose can draw a lot of unwanted attention. Dr. Beam is very experienced in Rhinoplasty surgery to change the size and shape of the nose to bring balance to the face.

Many of our patients choose to combine nose surgery with other facial treatments such as a lip augmentation or cheek implants to further improve their overall facial appearance. Dr. Beam can also perform Rhinoplasty to improve breathing concerns for patients with deviated septums.

Before Rhinoplasty

Dr. Beam makes it a point to meet with each individual for a one-on-one consultation to discuss Rhinoplasty. This allows him to understand what the patient would like to achieve with nose surgery. Dr. Beam can thoroughly examine your nasal anatomy and surrounding facial features to create a personalized treatment plan.

How is Rhinoplasty Performed?

The procedure begins with tiny incisions which allow him to remove or add cartilage and reshape the nose. He may also refine the tip or bridge of the nose to your desired shape and profile. To correct breathing issues, Dr. Beam can straighten the septum to correct the condition. After the incisions are closed, a splint is applied to maintain the new shape of the nose.

What Can I Expect After Rhinoplasty?

It is important to protect your nose after Rhinoplasty surgery. Dr. Beam will ask that you wear the nose splint for a least a week. Some swelling and bruising may occur, and should subside within a couple weeks. Patients typically notice gradual improvement over several months following surgery.
