What Are My Options for Liposuction?

Tumescent Liposuction
For patients who are within 25 pounds of their ideal body weight, tumescent liposuction is an excellent option. Dr. Beam has extensive training and experience with this liposuction procedure to give you optimal results. The tumescent liposuction procedure involves injecting a lidocaine- and epinephrine-based solution into treated areas to reduce side effects such as pain and swelling. Patients can benefit from a shorter recovery time and minimal scarring—making it one of the safest, most effective liposuction options.
After the epinephrine and lidocaine injections, tiny incisions are made where the fat can be removed. A thin tube called a cannula is used to gently suction out the fat. Up to ten pounds of fat can be removed during this process. We can combine liposuction with a combination of any of our cosmetic procedures to give you an ideal body type.
SmartLipo Body Sculpting
SmartLipo is the advanced laser alternative to conventional liposuction. This treatment uses a medical-grade laser to liquefy unwanted fat deposits beneath the patient’s skin. Fat can then be removed through tiny incisions which leave minimal scarring.
