Brow Lift
Dr. Beam offers brow lift surgery for patients in the Glastonbury, New Britain, Hartford and surrounding areas of Connecticut.
We offer brow lift surgery to help patients reverse visible signs of aging in the brows and forehead. A brow lift—also called forehead lift—can significantly reduce deep creases and wrinkles on the forehead, as well as fix droopy eyebrows and eyelids. You will be left with a dramatically younger look.
How is a Brow Lift Performed?
To begin the procedure, an incision is made above the hairline from ear to ear. From here, Dr. Beam can remove the excess muscle and skin on the forehead near the eyebrows. The remaining skin can be pulled taut to reduce wrinkles and creases on the forehead. The incisions can then be closed and wrapped in bandages.
What Can I Expect After a Brow Lift?
Most patients experience some swelling or bruising. To help alleviate this discomfort, Dr. Beam may prescribe oral pain medication. Most patients can return to light work after a week or two, and we ask that you avoid heavy lifting for about four weeks.
How Much Does a Brow Lift Cost?
The cost for brow lift surgery depends on the severity of the case. Since this is considered a cosmetic surgery, insurance will not cover the cost of your treatment. At your initial consultation we can discuss pricing and financing for your brow lift surgery.
